If true does this mean Benson is on his way out? He's 5ft 10.5 so not exactly a big target man and with Hayes joining i think we may have seen the last of Benson.
Yes but what i meant is surely we need a target man aswell so that would be 4 strikers. Personally i'd like Benson to have another season, but that up to Powell.

With Powell's attractive on the ground football who says we need a target man.

Fair enough but against certain teams having a big striker can be a useful option, and Powell seems to want a target man which is why he brought in Nouble, unfortunately he was just rubbish.
Ideally I think you want 4 strikers and a loanee/active academy player making up 5. You need variety and given how fast and furious the games, injuries, and for Benno cards, come in this league, you need to have a real unit there. The first season here we had the perfect striker in one mould but only wispy shadows to back him up. From January we acquired another perfect striker in a separate mould... now we need to complement and cover for BWP.

I think Benson will stay, and be an important player or us next year.
I thought you only knew Chris Solly
It says he is a pacy left footed striker so potentially he offers something different
