  • He can't afford to insure it but he can afford to lose 3 grand on a recently purchased motor?

    I reckon it's nicked. ;-)

  • He had it up for 12k but the muppet then he went and bought himself a motorbike on borrowed cash so now needs to sell the car quick lol, bitten off than he can chew but he's young. He saved up for a long time for the car, he didn't bank on nearly 3k per year to insure it because he is just a young lad.
  • So he didn't get an insurance quote on it before he bought it? Wow.
  • At the moment is on my other brother's trading insurance but my other brother wants him off as he wants to change it to a cheaper policy, anyway he can't insure it on his own, whether he knew it before he bought it or not I don't know lol. Anyway it's not just the insurance he has bought a motorbike and for commuting and social and drives HGV's at work so don't ever drive it, it was just for show I think...
  • Sorry to hear your  about your brothers woes Sadie,.
Depends on the  model, spec etc......
I have owned a few BMWs and the trouble with the  soft top is that it is a car that people use  for weekends, or a third car, so the mileage is low and condition is generally very good, or thrashed by boy racers.
Your brothers car looks a clean original car, but you have to have main dealer service history/ or BMW specialist. It is getting to the age now when you could use an established garage!.
Just seen this on the web....
£7,750 , 1.8 engine full leather, m spec 44,000 miles 1 owner from main dealer!
    i will say no more.......
Mind you,  I have a fiesta st 150 full leather just been serviced 14,000 miles, 2 years old, still under full manufacturers warranty,£500 service just done.... and cannot get what I owe on it, gonna have to trade it for a BMW diesel 3 series, or hand it back to the finance company, and walk away! ( the agreement lets you do this half way through).
  • Nothing better than pulling your hood back and getting some air to it.

he said at that price he would buy it off him tomorrow and he's a mug!
As for his car with all the extras in the car it is worth it book value is more than what he is asking and he has had a lot of interest but no-one has come up with the cash. The wheels, in car computer, trim etc etc the car is worth asking price I assure you. It's on auto trader has more pictures.

  • You dont want to get any bugs in your eye though.
  • The joys of having your interior on show

  • nothing better than having the top off and the back end gaping open.

  • nothing better than having the top off and the back end gaping open.

As Sadies brother has found out though its very expensive to get insured for that sort of thing. Basically, he's rushed in and left himself exposed.
  • I employ a very fair skin fellow called Mariusz and often give him a lift home in my convertable.

After a hard day there is nothing better than cruising topless with my Pole, all creamed up, exposed, in the rear .

  • I do like getting the top down but you can't get in the back door!!!

I'd find it hard to put my usual load into that small rear, with or without the top off.
  • Bit exhausted of these tyred old puns now.

May be it needs forcing or perhaps just a gentle application of grease.

My old banger looks great with her top down. When I turn her over in the mornings, liquid spurts out of the pipe!!!
  • Mine needs her nipples greased regularly. Unfortunately, she's prone to the odd backfire.

Thanks for the tip I'm at my the tethers end. Will give it one last go. If that doesn't work I will just drive it into the canal.
  • If you've really opened her up and are going at a fair speed with your hood pulled right back and the big end goes, it's curtains. (if you can't find anything else to clean up with it is anyway)
  • Youve got to start off slowly, lubricating and applying gentle pressure, before you know it "bang" and you'll be in. Now once in you can gradually build up the revs, you should be able to hear the suck, squeeze, bang, blow coming from the lump in front of you. Once at cruising speed she'll start to purr like a well stroked pussy, a word of caution though, if you go too fast too soon the big end can start to grind resulting in lose of compression and a release of noxious gasses.
