First and last letters are the same.

  • I swear I remember this and didn’t dream it, but there was an episode of 90s Australian teen soap opera ‘Heartbreak High’ where there was a scene with a PE lesson, or “Soccer” match, or something and one of the characters was wearing a blue Charlton away shirt. I think it was one of the Ribero back to the Valley shirts. Anyone else remember seeing that? Was almost as random as a Mike Amman poster in a Home Alone movie.

Charlton mug on the table in Saint Etienne's video, only love can break your heart.

CAFC grafitti in Only Fools & Horses batman episode.

I played that vid and weirdly although it appears to be a Charlton mug in the table, it’s a Sheffield United mug one of the band members drinks from. I also noticed one of the street shots in the video focused on a building called Charlton Court

  • One of the biggest TV shows in the world "The Boys", the main protagonist and his brother are Charlton / West Ham fans

Billy Butcher from The Boys is a Charlton and West Ham fan Americans really not quite getting how English football works but its still cool to see Charlton on TV rCharltonAthletic

Gavin and Stacey last year when Bryn decorated the front room with all sorts of football memorabilia, there was a Charlton scarf IIRC

    Is this the episode?

Can't have this thread without mentioning Ace. Sophie Aldred true Addick a heart from the badge to mentioning the 1-1 draw vs Wimbledon .  She (Sophie Aldred) even contextualise it in A Childhood End saying Ace's favourite Uncle was from Plumstead, so she supported Charlton.

I saw Matt Holland on the football league show when the play-offs were on.
Does Darren Bent having a show on  talksport count?
