    PP's words were that Jonjo was too good for his team, he could pick out passes that the other players couldn't even see coming.

    Isn't what Jamesjfricker said what Uncle said on here at the time? Have definitely heard before that that is the reason why PP failed to play Jonjo.

    Whatever the reason for not playing him, it seemed to me that Jonjo was not playing well towards the end of his time with us. I suspect that was because he was too good, in the sense that his passing game didn't fit with the more basic style of the team. Whether this was a case of Parky being pragmatic or incompetent is, as we know, a matter of endless (and futile) debate.
