  • I'm up for Sunday but would much prefer a normal game of poker instead of a heads up knockout which didn't work at all for me considering i had to wait an hour to get a game last Tuesday while waiting for the the other players.
  • at least u cashed still ;)

yeah i agree standard anyone else.................

people may be a little poker fatigued. we have been holding the main monthly event for the second to or last sunday of the month but even this is wearing thin. sundays is a crap night for me anyway but i'll still play provided it's not a heads up thing,

maybe back off from having so many events as it looks like it's just a hardcore of about 15 of us
  • i can do tuesdays too not just sunday ;) be nice if all those interested post to say how regular they would play etc
  • i think once a month is enough, but we must expand on the normal 15 or so what happened to the 49 registered, can we not e mail them with date of games or try and get feedback from them?
  • Well i would play every week , maybe even twice a week.  I really enjoy our poker games ( heads up aside) . I cant always do the same night as i do shifts but i certainly dint have poker fatigue , if anything i dint think we play nearly enough.
  • I think the knockout tournies were popular as are the normal monthlies, heads up is best left to an organised few as and when they want to play.

I don't think people are pokered out just maybe charltoned out (due to our not so successful season), hence not visiting the site as much. I'm sure people will start coming back during the closed season.
  • I think we should play the 3rd sunday of month as originally arranged main tournie leaderboard points, so 22nd May, we don't want the few regulars we have got getting bored or worse broke. If we fail to fill 2 tables on that day however we need to revise things.

I for one don't want to stop playing especially leaderboard games need to get to the top ;-)

Maybe we need to start a 'Who wants to be on Poker mailing list?' thread and ask people to leave an e-mail contact that way they can be informed when a tournie is set up with regular reminders, might get numbers up. Maybe also a poll or few, asking preferred format, table sizes, etc.

This Sunday in my honest opinion is a bad idea (sorry JB) because it may take people away from main tournament.
  • sounds like a sensible approach to me
  • The 22nd is good for me. I also think that we should have a slightly larger entry fee . Say $10 for example or do people think that's bad idea?
  • Sponsored links:

  • yes usual $10+$1 entry fee normal tournament top 15% paid and leaderboard points.
  • i dont mind ill play wenever really ill leave to u lot and ill check in for when they are set up :D
  • cough cough
  • I think it would be interesting to find out why so many who used to play (WSS, Duck killer etc) seem not to be interested anymore
  • yep i totally agree buddy dont make sense 49 registered but only 15 play

  • so, how do we set up a survey on the new CL forum?
  • I'm happy to play regularly but not too much - once or max twice per month is probably more than enough. Afterall, if in need of a poker fix in between CL games I can always play against random foes.

It would be good to have a 'live' event one day!

  • So is the Sunday 22nd the next game ?
  • 22nd next game definitely, usual format.

anyone who wants to be on a mailing list can whisper(inbox) me your email addresses and whenever a tournament is set up I will email and and the day before as a reminder. This may help keep numbers up.
