Neil Warnock & QPR

edited April 2011 in General Charlton
Great Season for Warnock, used to hate the guy, but admire what he has done with championship and below, hope he and QPR can do it today.

Comments

  • He'd get us out of this league no bother.
  • Proved once again what a genuinely great manager he is. Bit of a twat at times but knows his football.
  • Thank god he never did anything with Palace, his only recent failure to impress.
  • Weren't they sniffing around the play-offs before administration?
  • The perfect manager....maybe one day
  • A couple of years back, a mate of mine spent the afternoon in his company watching cricket at Beckenham where Kent occasionally play.
Said he was a good bloke and excellent company.
    Prefers cricket to football apparently.

They looked like certs for relegation under Burley and he got them in to the playoffs.
  • thinking about the game today, do we get any money if hudson goes up with cardiff?
  • Really like Warnock. Passionate and honest, although can see why he has had so many fall outs over the years.

Fantastic managerial CV and hope to see him in the Prem again.

QPR have a potential points deduction case hanging over them regarding an unregistered player. The FA are dealing with it and could impose anything upto a 15 point deduction. Judgement won't be passed until 5th May.

  • He is detested by many within the game BUT he knows what he is doing and (like Alex Ferguson) is generally ok when he is winning. A superb manager who can get the best out of players who look disinterested under other managers. It will be interesting to see how well he can do in the Premier. He's also a qualified ref...unlike the vast majority of his managerial counterparts.
  • He's a nobody unless supaclive has had dinner with him.
  • On the verge of the sack apparently. Seriously.

    .
  • Apparantly their fans were on the pitch celebrating promotion today only for Norwich to score in the 96th min and delay the promotion.

  • QPR found guilty on 2 counts, but no points deduction.
  • Seems like West Ham and Tevez all over again!.........

Quick!..... Sign up a couple of 'dodgey international players' and bung em a packet!........ on second thoughts Tevez wants away. £100,000 'a goal' bonus in cash!.......30 goals a season.....

Who says football today is just about money! .......
  • A fine of £875K...

  • I thought you had to have a 20k+ stadium to be in the Prem?

page 126 onwards, can't see anything about minimum capacity.
  • Agree about Warnock. There are a bunch of Managers who will always have their teams playing well, and when we were looking I expected one of them to come to us. I hadn't even considered CP, but lets hope that the legendary player can become a legendary manager.
