  • Sullivan - 6 - Very little to do so hard to properly judge him, but had no chance with the goal and made some good decisions dealing with crosses and sweeping up behind the back 4. Some ropey kicking though.
Solly - 6 - Nearly cost us a goal with one ill judged leave but otherwise solid at the back and linked quite well with Waggy, didn't really create anything when in advanced areas though.
Doherty - 7.5 - Thought he had a very good game winning headers and some very well timed tackles. Never going to be a footballing centre back but I think we saw yesterday that with the right team around him he can be good for us next year - just like he was for Norwich last year.
Fortune - 5.5 - Fairly solid I suppose but some clumsy moments, looks just as slow as Doc without as much aerial presence. Sad to see a former favourite on his way down but tbh he looks past it.
Bessone - 5.5 - Got a bit better as the game on but has looked suspect in every game I've seen him play - hope we don't sign him permanently.
Wagstaff - 6.5 - Great work rate and may have scored on another day. His touch and decision making still let him down at key moments sometimes and he remains much more likely to score a goal than create one for a team-mate.
Semedo - 8 - Covered every blade of grass in BOTH halves, looks to be a player Powell is improving.
Stewart - 6.5 - Took a while to get going but looks a steady and experienced player. Love his constant communication with team-mates. Should have scored.
Racon - 4 - Big fan of this lad and I've defended him many times but he looked pretty disinterested yesterday.
Wright Phillips - 6 - Some real moments of class inside the box, if we can get him to sharpen up outside the box he could be a real star.
Benson - 8 - Worked his knackers off, won headers, held it up well and did more than just lay it off. Minimal direct link-up between him and BWP but Benson more than pulled his weight.

  • Sullivan - 7 - amazing how more settled the centre halves look when you have a keeper happy to take control
Solly - 7.5 - linked very well with Waggy
    Doherty - 6.5 - Solid
Fortune - 6.5 - can make Doc look pacy, but had a decent enough game
Bessone - 6.5 - will divide, this one, but adds something different
Wagstaff - 8 - best game in ages
Semedo - 8 - he's getting more involved up top and just edged MOTM for me
Stewart - 7.5 - when fit we've got a real player on our hands
Racon - 6 - immense talent, it's him who wastes it not his managers
Wright Phillips 7 - is getting more involved as each week goes on, created a cracking chance for himself second half.
Benson - 8 - where did that come from? Almost looked like a player. Now do it consistently pal.

  • Sullivan- 6- His responsibility to line up the wall which looked badly organised. Kicking was poor. Otherwise did ok
Solly-6.5- Steady as ever and usually good with the ball, plays some good balls to Waggy. Think he should be cemented RB for next year if he stays
    Doherty-6.5- Steady
Fortune-5.5-Usually steady but very poor distribution and a couple of nervous slices
Bessone-6- distribution isn't great but I honestly don't think he's as bad as some people think
Wagstaff-6.5- Linked up well with Solly, couple of times he shot when there was a better option on
Semedo-6.5- Got forward a lot more than usual, not sure if that suits him but fair enough to try it out in meaningless last few games, could be a master stoke!
Stewart-6.5- Looks decent, nothing special. However he is very vocal which is useful. Worth keeping if possible
    Racon-5.5- Very anonymous
Wright Phillips-6- Great turn at one point but otherwise struggled
Benson-7-MOM- Once again looked good on the ball and won more than his share of high balls (unexpectedly) Wouldn't mind this being our front 2 next season as long as the service to them improves.

Didn't deserve to lose, encouraging but also we need to start picking up points especially when we are the better team. I know these games are meaningless but we need to go into next season believing. Huddersfield were very ordinary I thought. Might have just been an off-day but they didn't look a jot better than us, showing that we can do it!
  • Sullivan - 6
    Solly - 6.5
Doherty -6.5 Very assured, but some horror mistakes
Fortune - 6 Looks like he's running in treacle sometimes, but won a lot in the air
    Bessone - 6 See Doc
Wagstaff - 7 Gave them a lot of headaches
    Semedo - 7 Captain marvel
Stewart -6.5 Can see the quality, but a bit weak in a few challenges
Racon -6 Some good quality, but looked isolated out wide
Wright Phillips -6.5 Showed some good awareness and pace
Benson - 6.5 Won a lot in the air and looked a threat

Sullivan - 6 Not much to do but kicking and dealing with crosses looked assured enough.
    Solly - 7 Had a good game
Doherty - 7 Very solid defensively
Fortune - 6.5 Solid defensively, a couple of slices lost him .5
Bessone - 6 Better to have a proper left back but still not sure he is the one
Wagstaff MOTM - 7.5 Really troubled them
Semedo - 6.5 Solid enough but needless four for initial free kick which led to their goal - nearly scored another!
Stewart - 6.5 Good without being outstanding - you can see he is a player though and definitely worth a contract.
Racon - 5.5 Found it hard to get into the game - their right back was quick and decent.
Wright Phillips - 6.5 Comes alive in front of goal- except wasn't wearing the shooting boots on Saturday
Benson - 6.5 Worked very hard and some good play

Overall - If you were not at the game and looked at the result you would say same old Charlton but whilst we were the better team in the first half - it was admittedly a bit sterile - the second half - apart from a 5 minutes spell on 50 mins- we looked a class apart from huddersfield. If we had won 2-0 they couldn't have had any complaints. Look at the performance and with 2 or 3 decent additions I think I can see some light at the ned of the tunnel.

  • Sullivan - 6.5 Not better or worse than Elliott
Solly - 7 Always better when playing with Waggy
    Doherty -6.5
Fortune - 6.5 Give him a pay per play contract next year
    Bessone - 6
    Wagstaff - 7 AS Solly
    Semedo - 7.5 PotY
Stewart -6.5 Good in general but ducked during a couple of air challenges
    Racon -6.5
    Wright Phillips -6.5
    Benson - 6.5
  • Sullivan - 7 took charge when needed and very vocal. not at fault for the goal as it was a thunderbolt. Kicking doesn't convince me though - i was nervous every time.
Solly -6.5 so so. Lost Roberts once or twice but he is a pretty decent player so its to be expected. Better defender than Francis and better understanding with Waggy. Distribution not up to Franny's standard though
Doherty - 6.5 Did what he does. Not convincing but often in the right place at the right time
Fortune - 5 Call it a day sunshine - the legs are gone
Bessone - 6.5 Handled a rapid winger pretty well. Seemed to get caught by the long diagonal though - need to work on that.
Wagstaff - 7 best game for a while. Involved, energetic and comitted.
Semedo - 7 Becoming more box to box with each game. Couple of chances and his usual no nonsense tackling
Stewart - 6.5 Quiet start but loooks classy on the ball and does a decent job. Decent corners too. Worth a contract imo. Shame about the shot
Racon - 5.5 Annoys the hell out of me. When he's good he's excellent. When he's in this mood he does my head in. Should have left the field earlier and if he gave a toss about the result should have sprinted off the pitch as we were in the ascendency
Wright Phillips - 7 Flashes of what he is all about - hope he is fully fit in the new season as he looks like an easy 20 a season man. In fact if we had a good season I really think he could tear this division to pieces.
Benson - 6 won a few headers but so slow to react to changes of direction. Always seems flat footed to me and doesn't anticipate things well enough.
