I hope we are under-estimating the level of players we are targeting. We Didn't tempt Vetere from Villa to recruit Div one players he's never heard of. Maybe a few unknown foreigners who may struggle with the English game, Prem kids on loan, one or two Simonsen impact signing and rest quality CCC.

Hmmm, because if I was an NPower Championship quality player, I would want to swap my NPower Championship side, and NPower Champioship wages, for a move to a disjointed club in NPower League 1, that has slipped further than most in the past 5 years, and may not even have masses of money to throw at me, wouldn't I?
All this talk of amazing players we will be signing this summer, no-one truly knows how much money we will have to spend, not all 'seriously wealthy' owners would actually throw £5 million into a 3rd tier club, would they? I think some ideas are way above our station right now, though I would love to be proved wrong!
No idea on names but we need intelligent hungry players who compliment each other. League 1 players who are on the up, their clubs are desperate to keep and are capable of stepping up to the Championship eventually. Just make sure we've scouted them properly (remember McLeod...).
Any mixture of too many Prem loans, unknown foreign players (who need time to settle) or expensive players that think they're too good for this league could see us struggle to challenge for the top two.
We have some decent players here that will offer more with some quality around them. We've let players go in the last few years who fans have written them off as not good enough, but they then do a good job at other clubs. Let's build on the decent players we have rather than trying to sign 20 new players.
Fraser Forster (loan from Newcastle) ,Frazer Richardson) , Darren Ward (millwall) , Patrick Kisnorbo (Leeds) , Garry Borrowdale, Danny Green (D&R), Jonathan Douglas (Swindon) , John-Joe O"toole (Colchester), Anthony Wordsworth (Colchester) , Chris Iwelumo, Craig Davies (Chesterfield)
Striker - John-Paul Pittman free transfer from Wycombe, doesn't sound like the most inspiring signing but looked very good in League 1 last year in a struggling side and is quite young still.
I said we should have got him from Gillingham a few years back when he was disenchanted there and we were still in the Championship. He is a 10 goal a season midfielder who tackles and at 27 is at or approaching his peak.
It's questionable whether he is up to the standard of the Prem if Norwich do go up although he undoubtedly deserves a shot at it.
He is a Kent boy so might want to come back to the area if surplus to requirements at Norwich.

Over the last 3 seasons we'vew had too many players who simply go missing during games and just seem to be going through the motions
