how long you drunk there mate, geezer I know used to help run it Simon Anderson a spanner.
  • I think our first pre-season friendly went well. 3-1 at home to Rochdale. A nice easy canter out in the sunshine against a team placed higher than us, but who weren't interested in a competitive match. A very low turnout as most of our fans were either in their back gardens or in the second week of their Spanish fortnight. A chance to watch some loanees and youngsters to see how they'll fit in the first team in a few weeks. Easiest journey home ever, and now having a few beers (next stop the 'being drunk' thread).

  • Charlton have announced two more pre-season fixtures, with away trips
to Bromley and Carshalton Athletic added to the club's summer schedule.

An Addicks XI will take on both Bromley on Wednesday, July 27th (7.45pm) and Carshalton on Tuesday, August 2nd (7.30pm).

  • I am told someone connected with the Hertfordshire club that there is a pre season friendly with Hitchin Town in July.
    Can anyone confirm this?
