Oldham boss Paul Dickov has identified the return of on-loan Sunderland defender Jean-Yves M'voto as instrumental.
The Latics have shown signs of improvement in recent outings and M'voto recently returned to Boundary Park after recovering from damaged ankle ligaments.
In three games since his return, the Latics have conceded only one goal and he helped them to a 2-0 win at Notts County on Saturday.
Dickov said: "We missed Jean when he wasn't here and he is back to his best. As we saw at Notts County, he can head the ball further than some players can kick it.
"It is great to have a player of that stature in the team, and he brings out the best in others
[cite]Posted By: Granpa[/cite]I disagree with the majority of you. The one thing we must not do as we end the season is to allow the players to think these games don't matter. Teams flourish when they get into good habits, allow them to get into bad habits and you are setting them up for failure. We need to be thinking positively if we are going to achieve over the next few seasons, wake yourselves up everybody, I go confidently for a win.

In sheer blind optimism I've gone for a 3-1 win to Charlton.....dont know why other than I think we may just be seeing the 'greenshoots' of a football club and team regaining its confidence after their last few performances.....BWP, Benson and Sewart to score.
Nice sunny day think I might give listening to this one a miss. Hoping Stewart starts to see if he's really any good and maybe we might keep a clean sheet.
