News has come to me via an e-mail from Ken Jennings that on 5th February Paul Weaver who ran Charlton North Down Blog, passed away while playing tennis. Paul had a hereditary condition of uneven heart beat, which his family are now being tested for.

From the e-mail he leaves a wife Jill.

I got the same email from his sister today and it shook me up pretty bad. Paul was an absolutely lovely bloke. Fit, he played a lot of tennis, wrote his blog from the heart (less so since the resession hit his printing business) and I enjoyed a few pints with him over the years in the RoD.

Very sad news. RIP CND.
