  • [cite]Posted By: sygonrima[/cite]I can't see where Mark Hughes has Blasted anyone.

He lent us a keeper because he thought he was going to get games. We didn't play the keeper so he called him back.

    Where is the story?
My thoughts exactly, although I guess the last line of his quote is somewhat patrionising towards us but not exactly inacurrate.
  • Well i think he has a point.
  • If this doesn't win the award for Something and Nothing Thread of the Week, I'd love to see what does.
  • Must have been a slow day at the Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle.

Bit weird to recall a keeper from loan so early - 2 games in! At least give the bloke a chance to win his place...alternatively loan him out to Staines or somewhere where they will guarantee him a game. Always thought Hughes was ok, but this takes the biscuit a bit.
  • [cite]Posted By: WSS[/cite]Well that's one bridge burnt.

Very true, we will never take Hughes as our manager after that.
  • In journo land, a moderate comment becomes a 'blast'. Whatever.
  • What?

Sorry, drifted off there for a minute.

Always had a soft spot for the Cottagers actually.

    No that doesn't sound right...

    Winner declared!
  • [cite]Posted By: Kap10[/cite]Never liked Hughes as a player nasty piece of work, remember him getting one of our centre halves sent off, can't rem, ember his name - (no one liked him except Sue savin and he went to Portsmouth).

There was nio need to air this in public and is disrespectful to a manager under pressure, reagrdless that it is our manager. truth be known when they shook on the deal he probably did not like CP's hand shake and sulked about it.

    Was it Carl Tiler?

  • mark hughes wot a c--t your keeper wasnt good enough
  • Blown out of proportion on here. PLUS wouldn't it be good to have a player with a tenth of Hughes agression, passion and ability when he was playing
  • Never liked the miserable sod, never will.
  • Yea right..........lets face it Hughes its not as if he is a great loss to us, by the sounds of things he has done us a favour by taking him back as he wasnt capable of catching a cold
