It just does not seem possible that we are playing in the old 3rd division and could even end up in a relegation fight come end of season,just shows how difficult it rearly is and perhaps appreciate how well others did before they were replaced.One thing that did go right was the take over,be it at the wrong time,but then when is,it must of been getting very scary behind the scenes.It will all now be down to how good a judge Powel is at building his team to win us promotion,he did say from the start he was not under presure to get us up this time,but I don't think they will wait long,they proved that with Parkinson.So once again we write off another season,only this time we have a secure base to work from,lets hope they all get it right.

I think we're all hoping for a serious shake up during the summer. It'll be interesting to see what he does with the team and if he'll change it much. I wonder if he already has his eye on some players.

Unless we pay big wages not many quality players will want to play here next year.

true, but Charlton are a big club for league one, and i think some decent players would like to be part of the revival of it

Look to sign the best players from this league and some decent Championship players, just look at Leeds, Millwall & Norwich.

Defence is top priority, Clear out all the rubbish build from the back and if we have to go down the "Loaning players" road then bring in 1 or 2 decent Championship players, forget young Prem players who think they're too good for us.

we don't need quality players - we need a team that doesn't let in goals and scores 1.

surely a team that doesn't leave in goals would have quality players on it
