that would be pronost (huijt) then like ruud guillit (bad spelling) pics on google
  • Danny Guijt's agent claims Charlton Athletic are showing an interest in the Cambuur Leeuwarden midfielder.

The 30-year-old's contract expires at the end of the season and he has been tipped to leave the Dutch second division side on a free transfer.

Charlton reportedly watch Guijt in action recently and the player's representative Eelco Groen claims the League One club are keen on a deal.

"Charlton is following him," Groen told Voetbalprimeur. "They attended the game against FC Emmen.

"Danny is playing well at Cambuur and we are looking at the options for next season."

The Addicks are currently trying to escape from League One under Chris Powell, but are 13 points off the play-offs following a slump in form.

    Another Oldie
  • Haven't got a clue what he's like but i'm going to assume he's an experienced all round midfielder with nouse and ability - Halelujah nr.2.
  • A left footed CM, marvelous, looks a little mean, with about a 1 in 5 goals to games - We'll soon hammer that out of him!
  • Took some bloody good chances in that clip.....especially the volley from outside the box and the one on the angle from just inside the box.....could be a good addition to the squad... an attacking left-footed midfielder who knows where the net is!!!
  • Every month according to Skysports we are linked to foreign players and nothing ever happens!
  • If he's been seen to have a shot at goal , that rates him a thousand miles above the Mcoxo bloke who is currently the first name on the team sheet for some inexplicable reason .

Mind you. if he can also make a telling pass or even a full blooded tackle, that would also put him ahead of our 'Likes it up the Oxo tower ' current midfield powerhouse...........who must be impressing Sir CP in some way, which is VERY VERY VERY WORRYING for the future

    We'd just have ruined him.
  • If wikipedia is to be believed then his goalscoring record certainly looks interesting... some of it in the Eredivisie as well

This link doesn't work?! I'm intrigued, what did it say?!
  • Just scouted him on You Tube ( it was good enough for Keegan )and checked his profile on Football Manager and he looks good . FM says he is right footed although most of the You Tube goals are with the left .

Could he be Jacko's replacement if he decides to jump ship to Brighton ?

    Good lord.

I think we were linked to Oliver Bierhoff in about 1993 when he was playing for Ancona or somebody... then about two years later = Euro 96 final.
  • he "could" be alright, you could put together a video to make any player look good. a goal every 5 or so games is always helpful though

  • Seriously, he looks well built and strong, with a nice touch ...... impressed with the way he took the ball on his chest and then half-volleyed past the keeper. Seemed very sure of himself.
