Do the current crop of players know that they will be replaced at the season's end

Not saying that this is the reason for the dip in form but some of the perfomances have been shocking and you would think that some of the players would be trying to earn new contracts .

  • I am annoyed that we have a rookie keeper on loan ahead of our kids and am afraid Gough and Hall may be out the door. Keepers mature later than outfield players because it's all about experience. We have a record of dumping good. Keepers too early.
  • Agreed ! The Randolph situation is gonna show that up big time Harvey .
  • Elliott seems to vulnerable to injury and is an adequate keeper
We should have addressed this situation on Powells arrival needs addressing like yesterday
  • 13 players contracts are up at the end of the season and none of the management have spoke to them about possible renewals.

Maybe that is why the dip in form?

I do think that there is disharmony in the squad with the extra physical training handed out by the new management team and that several of the players do not like it (Tough I say!)

My guess is that their is going to be a mass cull in the squad as the team do not appear to be 'up to it' and that quite a few new faces will be brought in.
  • Same old same old......nothing new here, I shudder to think how many players have gone through the various squads in the last 4 and a half seasons....ridiculous situation.
  • keep jackson ,bwp, jenkinson and wagstaff
  • I think few of them have an idea
Contracts mean little unless you are a young player
If it was me then I would lay it on the line
    Shape up or ship out.......
So that means about a dozen plus in reality nothing decided till we know what division we are in
O would opt for the plus
  • EVRY PLAYER SHOULD BE ON A ROLLING 1 YEAR DEAL! SEE THEM PLAY THEN!!
  • And then see them leave once they perform?
