    Chicken and egg. Which came first - dislike of Francis or his poor performances? I'd suggest that there might just conceivably be a connection between the two. And in recent matches, there seem to have been quite a lot of people saying ''I've tried to be patient with him but enough is enough...''

    Wasn't at this match and 12 votes is a very low sample. But four players with averages below five for the game is dire.

    Well i can only presume you didn't go to Milton Keynes on Tuesday. I did and saw one of the most inept performances from a Charlton player i can remember since the clown Amdy Faye tried to hide throughout an entire premiership game. I cant accuse him of hiding but the bloke cant pass the ball and i think that's quite a fundamental skill to have as a footballer. I have supported him up to now because i hate it when our fans get on players backs but i cant anymore.

    in defence of francis and yes he was a disgrace at Mk dons , i like the fact he is prepared to have a go and try and put the ball in the danger area he has had the most crosses from our team this season(according to the mk dons programme 69) he tries to be positive but fails too often ......
    i prefer a player to have a go rather than crab it like most of the other nothing footballers in our team

    Totally agree, the more often you try to play a killer pass the margin of error is higher. Anybody can play a pass to your teammate who is standing 5 yards away.

    From some of the short passing I've seen this season, I have to say that is not necessarily true!!
