Yeah everything was so well done in those 4 wins wasn't it southampton addick. Things have been getting worse and worse since Powell's first game in charge. But I'm a dickhead for thinking we fluked our way to 4 on the trot?
The main points from the commentary seem to be that players aren't making themselves available to receive a pass and so sideways and back passing, no width with Racon on left, Francis good going forward but no confidence in the side.
was thinking this was just a rough patch, but losing 4 and looking as if we are going to lose a 5th against 5 very poor sides, something is definietly not right!
[cite]Posted By: AFKABartram[/cite]Anyone able to repeat what the half time summary of the commentators was ?
Basically AFKA they said, we have no confidence, no movement and really need to 'step up' our game or face 5 losses on the spin. LLera has played well, big mistake by francis for their goal....sums it up
Looking on twitter from fans at the game....comments ranging from clinically deprssed, to we came back from 1 down against the posh.....elliott has gone off I think...will confirm when I can

I am not at game, due to fighting cold, but this does not look good.
The owners (who ever they are) have bought a team with many weaknesses, midfield / centre back and brought in a good man but inexperienced manager. Apart from BWP, I don't see any strengthening going on, or any indication that they will strengthen at the end of the season. The lack of depth in the squad is also something everybody knows about. We are paying for that now.
It is starting to look like the owners have only a low to moderate amount to invest. If that is the case then why pick an inexperienced manager when a more experienced person was required ? or sack the guy who's team it is. It is clear the team is going no where and under Parkinson may have slid down the table but to do this to Chris Powell was not a good move.
Many of the players are out of contract at the season and there is no discussion or indication on whether any of them will get a contract. It is no wonder they are putting in such a lack lustre performance. The existing squad need a big kick up the backside and given some incentive that they need to show that they deserve a contract here or somewhere else.
The owners need to get a grip and communicate or they risk losing a lot of Charlton supporters, and many will not renew the season tickets or be back before the end of the season. The pain is that we expected some big improvements and indications that we would be moving upwards. I don't see any of that at all.
Come on owners, whoever you are, show us that you have some plan.
I've got a nasty feeling that things may get worse before they get better, but I've still got faith that we will see some light at the end of this dark, long tunnel before too long. Well, you've got to believe, haven't you?
addicks get a throw....taken....waggy attacking crosses...cleared...llera picks up and passes to waggy...francis...BWP....llera....attacks....macca...llera crosses...defended..macca...semedo waggy...francis....jenks....wins a fk 40 yds out

You don't 'fluke' four wins on a trot, its a silly statement.
Lets just leave it and move on.
