Would have been disappointed if we were not looking at someone to replace the Doc before his injury, now it is imperative we bring someone new in at CB or at least give Fry a chance there.
I think Llera deserves another chance. He had a couple of shockers last season, but on the whole was more impressive than Fortune (and perhaps even Doherty) has been this year.
Is it me, or do Chris Powell's interviews come across as just a lot of words that don't actually say very much of consequence? He seems to be a master of stating the obvious.

Ever heard that saying "be careful what you wish for"?
Everyone was calling for Racon to come back into the side, and did very little.
I have a feeling we will miss doc's experience and whoever steps in has to have a good game. I know Doc is slow, but he is very very good in the air and wins alot from opposistion goal kicks/free kicks etc
Well if you fly around the pitch like usain bolt, you're going to get injured sooner or later. His first ever muscle injury- that's not really surprising!

Doc is what it says on the tin. A good 3rd division centre half. He had a 'mare against Exeter with two bad mistakes but overall he's turned out 6s and 7s most weeks.
Given the pale imitation Fortune has become we will miss Doc especially if llera or Dilly also get injured or suspended.
Ok, so we bring in a player full of mistakes, a crock or a player Doc can probably keep up with in training. Will be a tough choice- but as long as opponents don't have pace up front - I think it should be Llera - Will be Fry though.

If you watch him he is always talking to the players around him too. I think he organizes the defence alot more than people realise.

Dear Sir Chrissy,
PUT FRY IN.
I think he's injured too
Llera?
Well, at least he's a bit faster and... erm... more spanish.
My gut reaction was to give Llera another chance but again it boils down to a lck of pace, for me.
Loan defender urgently needed.
We shouldn't celebrate Doherty being injured. It means we're one step closer to Fortune being in the starting line up, and that is not a good thing.

God have we signed him as well. I thought he retired years ago - and I didn't know he played football as well.......:-)
Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Or rather, the signor.Step forward Big Mig. Please do not replace Doc with Fortune-favours-the-totally-past-it....
I dont give a toss... I love the man
