What!!!!!! Don't you think it's time we stopped this utterly ridiculous game of management merry-go-rounds and tried to bring back some stability to the club.
I presume you only posted that suggestion to get a reaction off of someone. There you are, I've given you what you want.
Unless we fall into the bottom 3 to give CP anything less than this season and next make us just another one of those joke clubs that change managers more than away strips.
Lets all chill the feck out. Maybe he wasnt the ideal candidate but Eddie Howe, Poyet, Billy Davies and Alf Ramsey were not up for it so for me he was as good, no, in fact better, than anyone realistically in the hat for it including his predecessor. We'll never know whether we'd be higher if we'd stayed with PP but it's all hypothetical now.
There's a lot of football to be played and the guy has been in the job ten minutes. Sick of the constant bashing of the club it's almost as depressing as the bloody football.

That's the point, maybe we couldn't get anyone else. Disappointed Curbs didn't want to come back, felt this was the final chance to get him in forma return.

Danny Wilson just got sacked for getting just one win from 11 games (and there were no draws in that sequence), and you want him to replace CP?!!?
Say we did get Danny Wilson in and we went one nil down at half-time, would you want to replace the manager then? Or would you wait until half-way through the second half, or maybe injury time?
No. Good player, nice bloke but a born loser as a manager. Out of the Micky Adams/Paul Hart/Gordon Strachan school of blokes who somehow continue to get jobs as football managers.

I'd rather get Danny Wilson the Liverpool defender on loan. They signed him in the summer from Rangers after he broke into their team.

If it's an Ass Man we need, let's go for experience.

Heh heh
That's genuinely very funny
