Semedo

edited March 2011 in General Charlton
I've been lucky enough to be ill and have missed the terrible performances I have been hearing about.

I've heard that almost every player bar Jenks has been appauling.

So, as the defence appears to be a huge problem (and the central midfield roles as well), does anyone reckon we should slip Jose back into central defence?

This crossed my mind after the Swindon nightmare, has it crossed anyone elses?

been saying it for ages as a midfield player he doesnt offer an awful lot going forward ok puts tackles in but he doesnt create anything and he certainly doesnt score any goals.
  • I'm not convinced he'd make a good central defender, however he cannot be worse than Fortune.

I'd still rather see Llera given another chance.
  • Docherty (and LLera) go for the first ball - but to my mind, Semedo isn,t so strong in the air at CB.
So at CB, IMO Semedo could only play instead of Dailly, not alongside him.
  • Agree Oggy. Probably true of Jenkinson and Fry as well (for now, both still young)
  • Let Semedo play teams on his own..

The only player who looks to give two!
    Give him the armband aswell,
cannot wait for the day he scores at the valley.
  • He is quality - When he passes the ball he tries to put it in a place that helps the reciever- the rest of our players just pass it - usually poorly. The problem is that his quality stands out like a sore thumb to me because I'm not seeing it anywhere else at the moment.
