Does anybdy else think as captain he shows no leadership skills, not that I know what goes on in the changing room or anything but just by looking at the team spirit when we go behind or are under the cosh?
I really dont rate him or Docherty and firmly believe we need two new centre halves to get us out of this league.

As for centre halves, I don't see how Doc and Dailly can play together they are both too slow - and Fortune is not the answer either. One of those three might do alright bringing experience to a pairing with a younger quicker partner, but I don't see that you can put any of those three together without inviting problems.
Give the armband to Semedo.
What we need is an ambitious captain who wants to take the club and himself forward. Someone with a bit of fire in their belly like Kinsella, Brown or Robinson. We need players who hate losing. Semedo is too quiet to be captain. I honestly don't think we have any leaders at the club ATM.
Quality player but feel it's one season to many. We need a captain who will bust his balls all over the park and to get the rest of them fired up when things aren't going right. Someone like Dawson for orient
He's just exposed by the players in front him. Remember Hudson? Wasn't seen as good enough, but went on to captain Cardiff to the play-off final last season.
Not saying he's brilliant, maybe not quite as good as last year, but still one of our better players.
Also one of our fittest players, not a case of one season too many for me. Was better with pace alongside him in Sodje and a team that could keep the ball better. Had this team been as good as last years, Dailly would have looked just as reliable.
It's going to take time to sort things out, but currently we look a bit lost - I'm not sure anyone is totally sure what Powelly is trying to achieve and as such we keep getting caught between passing the ball around a bit more and playing direct like we did under Parky. I find it a bit worrying that after 8 games I still have no idea what Powell's football philosphy is.
You could drop Franz Beckenbauer into the back 4 under those circumstances and it would still look a bit shaky.
In front he has Semedo and Racon and when he passes to them, you can be quite confident that they won't put through many decent forward passes.
I would expect Rio Ferdinand to struggle in those circumstances.
BTW he's not slow, maybe not as quick as in his prime, but definitley not slow.
He's playing basically just for expenses I've been told by a reliable source and is as committed and fit as anybody in that team at the moment.
Our lack of a midfield puts the defence under continual pressure and sooner or later it cracks.
Agree with your disagree Scoham
Funnily enough I was thinking that Dailly reminded me of Kins in his last season with us. He was up for it but he just kept making unforced errors (like Dailly). I like Dailly but I think that his body isn't keeping up with his football brain.
I said a couple of months ago that we don't really have any leadership on the pitch.
