Must admit, I almost hit 'back' after 10 seconds, but stuck with it and liked it. Like those Indian sounds. Contemporary folk.

Never heard of these before - slow start, but when it gets going it's pretty awesome stuff.

I always love hearing good new music. I will definitely be checking out more of their stuff - thanks for the heads up!

Don't like it much but it's all a matter of taste.

I listened to a bit of the interview, also on youtube, and they were talking all this rubbish about being anglo-saxon. I hate that term.

Yes indeed. You are only allowed to have an 'ethnicity' if you are not English. They obviously haven't been reading the Guardian enough. Shame on them.

Of course we're allowed to have an ethnicity.

    Our Phylum is Indo-European
Our Super Group is Germanic West, North Sea
    Our linguistic group is English.

We are not Anglo Saxons, we are English.
The Anglo Saxons were a Germanic tribe who invaded the British Isles from the 5th century.
The Normans then invaded in 1066 and settled thereafter.

We are no more Anglos Saxon than we are Norman.

    We are simply English.

the irony in all of this is that the saxons never called themselves "saxons"

In German it would be 'Sachsen' I think.

    Please expand on that Kentaddick

    Speak for yourself, Jimmy.

You be what you want, and i'll be what I want.

They are the people who created our nation and our language, so a little conflation is permissable, no?

P.S None of what you say is news to me, I just differ in the interpretation of it.
