...that the charlton faithfull see the return of the legend Chris Powell.

For the ones like myself who are now on distant shores, I just wanted to wish all you lads and lasses who are getting down the valley for this special moment a brilliant day and sing ya hearts out for the boys!

    Great message, thanks for that, I feel like a kid waiting for Father Christmas. It's just brilliant to be looking forward to going to The Valley once again.

    Am i right in thinking his last game at the valley was when he came on for Jonjo in his first game at the Valley against Coventry and scored a scored. I think the score was 4-1 it was such a good game, my first watching Charlton.

    I am going into this game with a bit of trepidation. Looking forward to the atmosphere being like a carnival, instead of like a church. But we have been so bad at the Valley since November that Chris has got a big job lifting the players to play the way we know they can play. Here is hoping for the best, feel quite excited.

    One of the best games at the Valley since we came back. What a great day.

    Absolutely gutted. Have been off work all week suffering with the flu. Have left it to the very last minute to make my mind up whether I'm fit enough to travel up and unfortunately still feeling really ropey so not going to be able to use my ticket after all. Can't express how disappointed I am - it's like my Christmas has been cancelled. I'm sure the place will be jumping today so have a great time everyone welcoming Chrissy back home.

    To all you going have a great day out....the old Valley sould be rocking!!!

    For those that can make it or hear it I'll be doing a match thread on here......lets hope some of the atmosphere comes across on the radio.....
