  • Probably Richard Rufus. Its tough though!
  • I could easily name a top five but that wouldn't answer your question.

So I will go for Mendonca for making 'that' day the best of my Charlton supporting life.
  • The two play-off final teams - football is a team game after all. Between them they include the players who I choose to remember with fondness - Shirtliff, Gritt, Rob Lee, Humphrey, Bolder, Mendonca, Steve Brown, Kinsella, Rufus etc.

Add Chris Powell and Dean Kiely in there and you are just about done.
  • Clive Mendonca.
  • Mine was always between John Humphrey and Chris Powell, now the latter is coming back as manager I am looking forward to going back to The Vallet again instead of doing it on Auto, if you know what I mean.
  • Garry Nelson

    Johnny H

    Richard Rufus

    Chris Powell

not a fag paper can place between them and never will i choose
  • Clive Mendonca, Richard Rufus and Darren Bent.
  • The greatest Englishman to never wear the shirt Richard Rufus.

Sickens me when players like Rooney and Terry take it for granted and endlessly prove that they are not as good as they might think. More Rufus/ Bryan Robson types and we might not be a national football laughing stocks with fans turning their backs on the overhyped primadonnas.

  • Mr Rufus without question, bring him back as sir Chris's number 2
  • Sorry. Thought the thread said Herpes.
  • Very tricky.

    Rufus

    Robinson

    Bowyer
