Were the board right to Chop Parkinson???? with Favourite to replace Him Wise or Howe so the tabloids would make us believe -and would those Guys do a better Job
His departure simply meant the board never fancied Parkinson -and there has been times this season none of us Did but we were doing OK and ......is it any coincidence that our form fell away the minute the New regine were In due Diligence.
If the New Regime want to prove they mean Business Lets get Poyet or Hoddle in or even Tempt Curbs Back and get some decent transfers and start playing the Beautiful Game.
A lot of people wanted Curbs Gone --and look what happened.....be careful what you wish for.

It's one thing sacking Parkinson, but the justification of the decision will come in the shape of his replacement and the effort made in the winter to improve the squad.
Would Parkinson have got promotion IMHO I dont think he would have. Performances were patchy at best and there lacked a continuity in the team and how we played, mix that with a fear factor about playing at home and the decision was one that needed to be made.
The issue is that to be fair he could of got us in the play off's, limping in, but could have got us there. Unless we bring in a manager with a strong philosphy or how he wants to play and then is back in make amendments to the squad, then we could be in exactly the same in not worse boat than we was before.
I'm just pleased that the board seem to hold the same expectations of the fans, promotion!
