How much notice do Sky have to give to change a game?

edited January 2011 in General Charlton
I'm looking at flying back either for the 5th or 12th March home game. I'd prefer the 12th as I think Brentford would be a better match but I'm wary that for this reason Sky are more likely to change the day.

Does anyone know if this is likely to happen. Has the 'notice period' for this date already passed?

I will give it 24 hours to see if anyone knows on here, and if not I'll book the Tranmere game which should be safe.

Thanks in advance.

  • Well the Bristol R A game last season was chosen about 2 weeks before the date if I remember correctly, because I had to arrange for refunds for trains & match tickets.
If you search Bristol R you may find a thread on it. I'll leave it to you.

    A train ticket refund? Wow.

Would the club actually re-imburse me for my flights?!

Great Western refunded with the club's help, after the late announced Sky coverage. It was the game when Basey "got done".
  • at the time of the Brizzle game last season, I believe think we were told that it is normally 8 weeks notice but was less due to the high number of rearrangements.

Think you should be safe, can't see them doing it to us twice in such a short period of time...
