I have received a few offers of tickets in the past from nPower that have required me to recommend them. I have been less than keen to do that as I have a professional conflict of interest with recommending a specific energy supplier. However, I received this email today:
"Hi there,
Hope you’re well.
You may remember that I was in touch with you regarding npower’s Home Team Heroes campaign. This week, npower have given us some match tickets to give away, do you think you might be able to help us?
I have 4 pairs of tickets for Charlton v Plymouth on 22/1.
I also have 2 pairs of tickets for Charlton v Colchester on 1/2.
Do you think you could find a home for those? We would need names, email addresses and ideally phone numbers by 17/1 for the Plymouth match and 19/1 for the Colchester match.
All we would request is that you mention the tickets are from npower.
Please let me know what you think. Thanks very much in advance for your time."
I am more than happy to mention that the tickets were from nPower, and as they were contacting me as I write a blog I will have to mention it on my blog, and probably give the names of those that took the tickets along with mentioning their Home Heroe's Campaign - which looks like a cause anyway.
If anyone is interested please let me know, and I will pass on your details to the appropriate people and I'll knoch up something on the blog to justify it.
Cheers,

What we need is someone with energy, who is a (fuse)box to (fuse)box player and who can light up a match.
