As some of you may or may not know, I have 3 boys all now teenagers, and until 2 seasons ago we all had Season Tickets. Due to a number of reasons, redundancy, loss of interest etc. I had to give them up. My eldest, nearly 17, has been working pre and during Christmas at Bluewater. Anyway he calls me yesterday after the Spurs defeat and says with some of his money, he along with 3 mates are all buying half season tickets for the rest of the season. This makes me very proud, a) because we are in the third tier and b) he has used his own 'hard-earned' to pay. He is also planning his first away day with out me. Hats off to him and his mates, the next generation has arrived. Real football supporters!
Just thought I would share this with you all!

Obviously well brought up.
BTW Bibble I can't the checkout working on your site. Help!
Took my lad yesterday (he is 10 and this was his first away game). Absolutely loved it, not only due to the football but also the atmosphere created by CAFC fans. As we were all standing, he was stood on the seat next to me, with his arm on my shoulder singing throughout. One of those days I will never forget.
To be honest these days a football ticket is a relative luxury and not an essential so it's nice that he is looking to do this off his own back.
He is of course going to get bitten by the bug and love the away day travel and be tapping you up for more cash soon
I would love to have a dad proud of me at paying out for a season ticket, but thats probably because I come home angry (or on occasion, ecstatic) nearly every week :)
