Not so much White Hart Lane

edited January 2011 in General Charlton
For me it was more like a trip down Memory Lane. We sat on the Coach going to the game, and watched The Premiership Years with first Parker then Jensen, Murphy and Reid playing the midfield hub so well. We then had to watch as Modric come on to change the game completely. One thing about Curbs, he understood how to keep things tight even if the result was not pretty. The new owners must have seen the passion of the supporters, and hopefully will be inspired to take the right actions. Well done to Keith and Damian for getting us organised, and looking as if we wanted it, that made a nice change.

  • Agree with You Granpa.
But...Why does a Manager have to get players "wanting it"?
Surely their "Up for it" anyway....If not try a different job ?
  • Agree with you Mis, the trouble is they will not fancy a different job when they can pick up better wages by far than most of us, and can enjoy the adulation from the kids, all for working half a day with nice long Summer holidays.
