I agree !!!!!! I could of sworn I saw Cudicini make 3 or 4 saves duriung the last half an hour !
its time something was done with the media about all this. Before the game we were listening to Radio Five and they were went over to WHL for the team news - the reporter mentioned Spurs had 9 changes from their last game and then named their 11, before handing back to the studio...........no wonder we lost if we didn;t even put ot a side !!!
yeh really enjoyed the post-match interview with Peacock though. to be fair the coverage for ipswich was equally non-existent, so they're consistent at least.
Anyone else think Andy Townsend's analysis of Andros Townsend was horrendously uninsightful too - must've mentioned that he was comfortable on with it on his left or right at least 3 times.
i listened to commentary on 5live sports extra. made me really annoyed when they said as the first half was ending, spurs have lacked creativity. nothing about how addicks had them held at bay and gave a good account of themselves. proud to hear our fans singing at half time just before they switched across to radio live during half time. bloody bbc get my goat at times.

Yes, that would be the same ITV who verbally sold Gareth Bale for us after his hat-trick in the San Siro.
Didnt see the highlights, I must admit. But by all accounts above, ITVs coverage really doesnt surprise me anymore. They make some games look so one sided its riddiculous.
did anyone hear the Leeds fans at the Emirates? (A game broadcast Live by ITV) You could hear them quite clearly and loudly singing.......... "ITV, is really shit, ITV, is really shit" (to the tune of "Premiership, your avin a laugh")
I was driving home about 1.30 yesterday and thought I would tune in to any radio station to here something, Talkmanu said and now 'Spurs V Charlton at WHL, team news....' and read out the Spurs team and then went straight into another match, apparantly we were not there, so to lose 3-0 is a result.
Talk Shite= Tabloid radio
I am convinced that part of the reason the FA Cup seems more minor than ever is the fact that ITV cover it and their coverage is so offputtingly dire that most fans cannot be bothered to watch. If it was on Sky and the BBC then I reckon there would be more interest (at least they inject a little life into proceedings). I am not suggesting for one minute that TV coverage is the FA Cup's only problem right now but the "coverage" on ITV is so toe curlingly poor it beggars belief.
I cannot comment on ESPN as I have never seen it in the UK but after making us play on a Thursday they are not in my good books either!!
Watched the so called highlights this morning , i thought we had more shots on goal than that? even Defoe looked slower on the tele than real time , the highlights really didn't tell the full story , and from an obviously biased Charlton perspective were rubbish.
Long gone are the days of impartial journalism. The big clubs rule football and they're happy to kiss the shaft of the premier clubs and screw anyone else. It was always going to be a no-win situation for us. If we'd have won 3-0 it would have been all about how the mighty spurs got it wrong. TBH it wasn't that much different when we were in the premiership. Whenever we beat one of the big teams, it was a case of them playing poorly and nothing to do with us playing well. Don't know about you lot but i've grown to expect nothing more these days. I didn't even bother tuning in last night as i knew what to expect.

Last night they missed so many incidents with dodgy camera work

ITV wanking themselves over Spurs, we're only there to make up the numbers.
Nothing ever changes, so no point getting upset.
