[cite]Posted By: ISawLeaburnScore[/cite]It is him, doubt he's a shareholder though, more like the media type our new board are seeking to schmooze
Or vice versa. Absolute spineless scumbag as I see it. Millwall one minute but left because it was too rough (it does what it says on the tin you berk), tags along with us for a while (conincidentally in the Premiership or at a higher level than the previous team he "supported") and then kicks us when we are down in that shit rag he writes for saying we weren't good enough because he's emigrated to west of London and QPR (now on the up) are a better option.
Plastic plastic creep.
I would rather Osama Bin Laden rode into the Valley on Dennis Wise's back to introduce Harriet Harman as our new manager(ess....sorry love) than him come back and have ANY involvement at Charlton unless he is there to watch us from the away end against his newest flavour of that particular month.
Ha ha yeah Im secretly brokering the deal with him hence my optimism on the subject.
Thing is as much as I disagree with loads of peoples views in life, most of them you have to at least give respect to or think fair play for having a spine and sticking to your principles/ argument if thats what you believe.
However with Uncle Kelv I see a severe lack of backbone and I can imagine had he been on the Titanic he'd be the sort of chap booting women and children out of the way to ensure his plump backside secured a spot in the first life boat.
Although I might agree with some of the stuff he says on certain things I have to remind myself of the whole public football club swapping he seems to enjoy flaunting and it soon brings me round.
A charmless Nick Ferrari with all the gumption of a lump of sweetcorn.
A charmless Nick Ferrari with all the gumption of a lump of sweetcorn.
Perfectly summed up. A nasty little coward.
Haven't read a lot on here since the takeover, but he devoted an inch of his Sun column on Thursday to slagging off Parkinson. Which is a shame, because Parky - for his faults - has more dignity under his little toe-nail than that c*** will have in his entire, bloated, lying body.
For me he's an even worse nightmare than Wise. For his role in the Hillsborough tragedy alone he should not be welcome in any decent football club. That's why its a bit disconcerting to see that foto of him hob-nobbing with our new Board members.
On the other hand, I agree with what people have written. He's a noisy coward so he won't want to hide his investment. Much more likely to parade it in front of us, and lambast us when we dont prostrate ourselves in front of him in gratitude.
But I'm also pretty sure he wouldn't be Richard Murray's cup of tea either; and we know, not just that RM still has a stake, but that he wants to continue to be the guy who talks to us. I just think he would really not enjoy fielding questions about the involvement of McKenzie, or Wise for that matter, yet he seems to be looking forward to the challenge (of continuing to be the front man on the Board)
Still everyone should acquaint themselves with Kelvin's Wikipedia page, and admire his surprisingly posh schooling (with piss -poor results); and chapter and verse on Hillsborough, where he has recently been caught recanting his previous public apologies. Like others have said, coward.
Inspector: did he really slag off Parky this week? What a ****. Perhaps we should write something back to him.
I think it is him but that you think that makes him a director is astounding. The directors area is huge and seats directors and THEIR GUESTS whats the point of owning a football club if you cant invite people along to shmooze with? And the only journo who ever writes about Charlton in a national paper (whatever you think about him you can't deny this) would certainly be someone you would want on your side.
The name rang a bell but couldn't remember why.... That man has a very special wikipedia page. Who on earth would invite him in to do a Q& A unless its some sort of object lesson....?
I once saw him on the Victoria line. He was wearing a long drape-style suit jacket and stupid pointy shoes, and I thought to myself, 'You absolute, colossal dick.'

Is he mates of Jiminez and Slater?

Is he one of the shareholders below 10% that don't have to be disclosed

Yes it is him (I think).
If he is a minor shareholder in this consortium I don't think he'd be courting privacy, it's hardly his style is it?
I go with the free-tickets schmoozing hanger-on to explain his presence in the DB.
They meet up for a coffee every Wednesday lunchtime to discuss the life and times of HG Wells, a different novel every week normally

Go back to Scumwall.
