One thing I have noticed since working in the betting industry is that 'next manager' markets can be very volatile and significant bets, either a large sum of money or a bet from someone known to be a 'marker' or 'wiseguy' can cause odds to tumble.
In my experience a lot of bookmakers refuse to take bets on these markets as its very easy to get stung and the one's who do are usually very cautious, hence the small odds on offer. It wouldn’t surprise me if one guy with a mark next to his name has caused the odds to shrink like this.
As a side note the firm I work for have decided not offer this market, however we have had many requests by email, livechat and telephone all of which have been logged, I was quite amused reading some of the names people were requesting odds on.

[cite]Posted By: CH4RLTON[/cite]All the shrewd boys coming on asking for odds on Waddock with my firm, I would say its a done deal from past experiences.
If they are shrewd, why are they asking for odds from a company not dealing in these markets ?

Howe is 4's
Personally I want Coleman/Southgate/Houghton not that any of them would dream of coming to us!
Waddock eased out to 5/4. That's ok then.

To catch them unaware and get a good price?
