Well, I thought I'd jump on the site and join in for some discussions etc. Been browsing round the site for a few months so I felt that it was time to make the big step.
I'm only 17, and I'm going through UCAS at the moment, so go easy on me.
That was the joke... Please tell me you realised that?
I don't think it was particularly obvious. No! If it were a play on words/joke then maybe the spelling (after the word spelling) shood av bin reelly bad???
Don't bother with university - massively overrated. Much better to go out, get yourself a job and go out on the lash every friday with your pals chasing skirt with a bit of dosh in your pocket.

If you don't already have an appreciation of Monty Python may I suggest an intensive session of their best of and all their films otherwise you won't get half of the stuff posted on here :-)
[quote][cite]Posted By: Ooh Itsa Corner[/cite]Welcome Roosel. Regarding the uni question this thread might help:[url]http://www.charltonlife.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=36861&page=1[/url][/quote]
Thanks for the heads up, but i was only joking about the former.
I actually already have an offer for economics at Southampton and Manchester.

Got a couple of friends at Manchester Uni, one who does economics. They love the city- great nightlife, cheap drinks, loads of students and easy to get around. Also seen as neither Southamption or Manchester is ideal for CAFC home games, Manchester is quite good for CAFC away games as there are usually a few in the North West which are easily accessible from Manchester.
Welcome Roosel. Have you applied for your Charlton Life Badge yet? Its a must if you are seriously going to join the clique to fully participate in Charlton Life.
You will also need to pass the "quoting" test. Make sure you have the format shown at the bottom of the page set to BBCode. No self-respecting Lifer would have it any other way......:o)

You know it makes sense.
roosel might be a bird...
good point..
Surely the point of going to university is to learn stuff, not just to have an "amazing experience"?
You can have an amazing experience anywhere. I had one in the shower this morning.
With the name Russell he'd be an ugly lesbian
For the record, I am a straight male. Sorry to disappoint those down who wanted me to be a lesbian.
And though I wish I could go out on the lash with the lads every friday, I do want to study too. I actually want to do a real subject.
Is Economics at Southampton better than David Beckham Studies at Thames Valley?
The former is probably a more informative read but the latter makes a better tabloid headline to be honest
So your real name is Rose? That's alright, honey.
Thanks for the heads up, but i was only joking about the former.
