Well we had a thread for Hoddle and Venables

Comments

  • Would I not like that
  • Waiting for a Keegan thread.

Or McLaren who is in trouble at Wolfsberg
  • My good god no

    can you imagine that

we have just removed one nodding dog number 2 he would be bound to bring that fella with him
  • Woy Hodgson will be available tomorrow.
  • Alf Ramsey?

    Doh!
  • We normally get linked with George Graham.
  • [cite]Posted By: Chirpy Red[/cite]Woy Hodgson will be available tomorrow.

I'm guessing this is tongue in cheek but I would have Hodgson in a heartbeat (Not that he'd come).
Liverpool haven't got anywhere near a top 6 squad of players anymore and this was highlighted by tonight's team with players such as Kyrgiakos, Ngog, Lucas, Rodriguez and perhaps even Konchesky, not good enough. They only have real quality in Reina, Gerrard and Torres and although they should be higher in the table I only see them as a 6th to 10th place team now, especially with the rise of Spurs and Man City.
  • Not in the slightest tongue in cheek. He will be available tomorrow.

I'd rather have Steve McLaren or even Les Reed than Woy!

Woy would be one of my top choices but it's all about opinions I suppose! ;0)
  • Roy would be a terrific appointment.. knows his stuff, saved Fulham then took them on one of the greatest runs of a british side in europe in British football history.. fantastic..

Be careful what you wish for.
  • all managers need to be judged on their overall record and take into consideration both the club involved and available resources etc. if all managers were judged on their current or most recent success, a lot of managers would never work again, instead we have the crazy football manager merry-go-round every season.
  • Hodgson was someone who could've fitted the bill after Curbishley but I shouldn't think we even considered him.
  • Can we not knock it?
