Man Utd in the FA cup 94? The highly successful operation Ewood and Riverside saw large numbers as well. Also wimbledon away at Selhurst on boxing day probably around 10 years ago

Yep.
Nearly came a cropper that day. Had one too many at London Bridge and 3 of us went in the Portmanor at Norwood Junction and werent hiding who our allegiences were with. About 20-30 of them tried to pen us in. Left in a hurry.
Our turnouts at Wolves in 1976 and at Highbury in 1969 were both supposed to have been enormous, I wasn't at either so I can't judge. Biggest one I've been in was probably Man Utd in the cup, don't remember 11k at Wimbledon but I was probably there if it was.
I made the Wolves FAC match. My first really big away match. I seem to remember that we had maybe 5,000 there? This was before segregation and despite such a good turn out, the terracing was so huge that we didn't make the impact we should have. Or maybe it was down to the Richards hat trick too:-(
Is Colin Cameron on C Life? I think we need his input here. I was at the Palace Kitson game in 2000 and Wimbledon Boxing Day 1998, and remember big crowds, but we need some stats, and even more so for the older games people are referring to in the 60s/70s/80s before my time!
The Wimbledon crowd in 1998 was 19,000. Must admit I hadn't even considered this one..didn't seem that many at the time but their crowds were so small, we must've had a huge following.
I'd have thought the biggest away following was Man Utd in FA Cup which was 10k but you might be right with Wimbledon.
The Kitson Crystal Palace attendance was 22,500.
Another big one was Bristol City in the 5th Round of FA Cup.

As above:
Wimbledon away 11k
Man Utd 94 10k
Blackburn 07 8k?
Middlesborough 06 6250
Think the M'boro game was a Thursday Night aswell......
5-6k at Forest that season (yellow day?)
Not sure how many we took to Fulham for 3-0 in 1986 but we had the whole open terrace.

Ipswich was 5000
Highbury-no idea I was to small to really judge, but it seemed that everyone going to the ground was Charlton.
Man Utd was the biggest I can actually recall, but I was at Wimbledon, but I thought the crowd total was 11,000

And at Highbury in 69 as the song goes "We took the North Bank We took the North Bank Highbury "
But the biggest must be the Palace game. The whole of the Arthur Waite stand.
live on BBC as well
Arsenal away mid-week c 87/88 (?) must have been a cup game - quite a few thousand there from memory.

Do you mean the Arsenal match that ended 2-2?
If so that was a league game.
We had the Arthur Waite and the Sainsburys end.
And everyone sat down and barely made a peep if memory serves.
Bit like the Palace game other than the last 10 minutes.
