I wonder if we'll see an attempt to get the new era under way with some big crowds eg. buy a Plymouth ticket get a free Colchester ticket ? With the early excitement of a new regime perhaps it could generate a couple of thousand sales, depending on who the new manager is, and perhaps the Spurs result.

as for the OP, similar to Yeovil game deal, people won't really be that interested.
i think that was a tremendous offer
Good idea.
I did read that, didn't I ?
;o)
Not sure any cut-price promotions needed to draw people in, just lots and lots of publicity and marketing - would be great try to get 20k.
I don't believe a lack of "decent marketing with some creative ideas" is or has been the issue. The great problem in recent years is that there has been very little to market. I believe that will change now, but we continue to issue 1,000 tickets to primary schools every game across five London boroughs and NW Kent.
We also offer group promotions to schools and junior football clubs anywhere at £12 per head including coach travel - there are five coachloads coming from Kent and Sussex to Plymouth. This is on a much smaller scale than in the past because the appeal of League One football is much lower, but it's out there.
