- Not sure whether or not we have appealed the Benson red card meaning he could play today?

- Swindon manager Danny Wilson admits he is becoming increasingly frustrated by the Jekyll and Hyde nature of his team.

- Jonathan Douglas serves the final game of a three-match suspension against Charlton, but goalkeeper David Lucas could return after a slight knee problem in place of Smith.

- Parkinson may be tempted to play some fresh legs. That would mean the likes of Seip, Fortune, McCormack, Reid and Abbott will be eyeing starts, while Fry plays his final game for Charlton as his loan spell from West Ham United expires on Tuesday.

- Seip's temporary stay from Plymouth Argyle also expires on January 8th. The Dutchman is yet to feature for Charlton since arriving on loan.

  • 3-1 win with waggy getting the first. Just getting ready for this one, off to Billericay for some pie & mash. Then off to upminster to get the train so i can have a drink in the lib. Not been to a game for a little while so i'm right looking forward to this.
  • having called our last couple of results bang on i have good news for addicks fans ... we're not gonna lose
can see us just nicking this one 1-0 or 2-1
make no mistake swindon are junk but unfortunately we aren't great atm but as long as we put half a shift in we should come out winners (as long as they don't get reduced to ten men copyright PP and incorruptable addick)
  • Any where to watch this online today? Can't make it, most likely.

There is a link on the other Charlton v Swindon thread
  • We'll win! We'd better anyway, last game I see before I'm back off to University...
  • I got a strange feeling that we might actually see a really good charlton performance with a 2-0 scoreline! COYR!
  • Everything points to a home win but we a poor side and the reinforcements are not yet here. Another frustrating game ending in a draw. No doubt once Messi and Ronaldo sign things will improve.

As its in sky there will be loads of streams around, will post em up nearer KO!
  • Pressure on the players today as "expectations" will have gone up a notch due to the takeover. Not overly impressed with Swindon however and expect us to come through with a win of some sort today. COYR !
  • Only my third game if the season so massively looking forward to this.

Hoping we can put together a decent home performance ad they seem to have been few and far between this season.

Swindon will have less than the 400 we took there so up to the Covered End to create an atmosphere

  • Would have come down for the game but as it's on tv I say 1.0 charlton Jackson again
  • Can't make it today but hoping for a good performance on the box

2-0 abd Austin unveiled before kickoff please
  • We've been getting a lot of draws recently, I predict that to end today with another 1-0 home win!
  • 4-2 Abbot/Jacko fgs
  • Going for an addicks win.....2-0 or 3-1 cant make up my mind on the score. However I think all the players will want to show the new owners what they can do and having fought back 3 times on Saturday (albeit against 10 men for 70 or so minutes) they now need to show they can play good football, attack, take the lead and hold it!! Its time for them to turn up at home and just bloody play!!!
  • Benno plays
  • good news 2-0 then it is
  • 4-2 to us - Jackson hat-trick, all penalties, 4th goal scored by Francis!
  • 2-1

will be in the lib before if anyones about for a new years drink. im the good looking one.

  • swindon aren't hovering just above the relegation zone for no good reason, that are gash. if we are to have promotion aspirations then these are the games we really ought to win. thankfully our boys have had a chance to play some football with us having an extra man for much of the majority of the last couple of games that i can't really see where our excuses will come from if unbelieveably,we manage to slip up again against piss poor opposition.

ii's not going to be a pretty display (well no shit sherlock) but swindon are such a poor side that even i would be able to get us a comfortable result.

    3-0 for parkies passionate pride.
  • Swindon are a poor side with one of their best players missing through suspension and their confidence is shot. Get on top of them early, stop the supply to Austin and make a statement to this inconsistent division.

Only three points will do today.

    COYR!
