Hey, i'm a Swindon fan! (Someones gotta be, right?)

Leaving to come up to your place at 12 today, gives me try to get lost and find where i'm going again! Anyway, i'll get to the point, I came up to your place for the play-offs ( Sorry for bringing it up! ) But i didn't drive, since i Am driving today I have a few questions..

Where can I park?
Away fan friendly pubs?

Thanks in advanced, I can only see one result comming out of today, and that is Charlton hammering us. Good luck!

  • Charlton Life Ground Guide

The Antigallican is listed on here (opposite the station) that's your away pub, I'd recommend parking down Anchor and Hope Lane there's usually a fair few spaces if you get there in decent time.
  • Bank holiday so parking may well be free. Arrive early and you should get a place in a street about half a mile from the ground.
  • antigallican is an away friendly pub , near the train station
  • Antigallican is away pub, no charlton there, The Rose of Denmark is away freindly with fans from both sides mixing, Turn left outside the station and thenn left into woolwich road, past the BP garage and RoD is just past the bus stop on your left.
  • Thanks alot everybody.
  • Shouldn't the entry for 'Upton Valley' on the map be changed now – maybe something like 'coming soon to a division near you'?
  • Drinking and driving, tut

Parking in the zone from the Valley to the O2 is not free on a bank holiday, only on Sundays. Read the zone signs and believe them. The parking ticketers are extra active on Charlton home days.
  • Didn't see that comming!

Was mayhem, got up there and parked on the road straight opposite the Antigallican. The person who drove up with me got kicked out 10 minuites into the game, so I had to get a train back! Bit of fun and games on the train station!
  • why did he get kicked out? why didn't he watch it in the pub and wait to drive you home or did he get nicked?!

fair play, absolutely outstanding result for you... welcome to the post-mortem

and what happened at the station... bank holiday timetable chaos i expect ;-)

We saw the guy getting kicked out , what did he do?
well done by the way fully deserved
  • ps. you wouldn't catch me dead in swindon ever again you buggers have hurt us too much now!
  • My friend got kicked out for being a twat, but a few stewards were just winding people up knowing they would bite with a few drinks inside them.

At half time another friend of mine got kicked out and arrested for not having his ticket on him, they accused him of tresspasing, which i thought was bang out of order.

At the station we were on one platform and a few chavs from charlton on the other side and it got a tad heated!
  • how many swindon there you were quite loud

  • I think I saw c.350 mentioned on the O/S
  • I think it was 387 on our OS.
