Pronunciation of Wagstaff

edited January 2011 in General Charlton
This may seem like a bit of an odd question, but how do people pronounce the 'staff' in Wagstaff?

Wagstaff as in STAFFordshire

or

Wagstaff as in 'a member of staff'

Unnecessary question i know, but am just curious lol.

Yep, I think both of these are pronounced the same by South-East Londoner's. Anyone who pronounces any different isn't real Charlton.
  • It's pronounced: waegstaef

The ae symbol in the phonetic alphabet is not on my keyboard. I hope that this does not confuse you and impede future correct pronunciation.
