I think its naive to think people don't have pre-conceptions of players' ability and mark regardless of the 90 minutes they just witnessed on the pitch. I think we are all probably guilty of it, everyone has opinions and these will affect marks. We're not a race of completely rational beings after all.
Much like you keep banging on about the "playing against ten men comment", if we do it again and win for example you'll probably take that as a slant on Parkinson still and say "well the players obviously don't listen or respect the manager". And if you think I'm being childish or factitious I suggest you go back and look at a few of your recent posts.

Having preconceptions that colour your opinion is very different from accusing people who disagree with you of marking ''randomly'' .
And it has nothing to do with Parkinson claiming it's always hard to play against ten when it is patently easier than playing against 11. As for the bizarre words you have apparently put in my mouth if and when we play and beat ten men ...are you serious?
But as you say, none of us are completely rational, are we?

People simply see the game differently. Can I suggest we leave it that and keep it comradely, Oggy ?
