Another liberty

edited December 2010 in General Charlton
How come fans who were welcomed to help clear the pitch, fans who bought tickets and travelled to the game and everyone else with a reason to be curious about D'Urso's decision to cancel the game can't find out without paying out again? Come on club - put it on the OS - we're entitled to know

  • ??? plenty on here from fans and those linked to the club to explain. Plus plenty of media links around.

Do you expect the club to transcribe interviews on to the OS?

Can't quite understand what your complaint is ... apart from the fact that so many love to complain for the sake of it.
  • Just listened to the 'interview' - it was made at the time of cancellation and is only a couple of minutes long and adds nothing to what we already know ... summary:

After an inspection at 12pm, I decided that certain areas of the pitch were unsafe and that the game could not go ahead.
  • another pointless complaining thread !
  • Another liberty...Joannie "Nan" Taylor, welcome to Charlton Life.

Completely agree. And whilst they're at it they should send a Christmas hamper to all supporters with West Stand season tickets - and a proper Fortnum and Mason hamper too, not one of those tacky Harrods ones. Yet another example of the club losing touch with the fans.
  • Give me strength reasons have been spoke about already all over the place time for people to wake up and look and read
