[cite]Posted By: Nicholas[/cite]cos the greedy bastard tube drivers want extra pay yet again. I know's it's selfish but I hope the game is called off now unless they sort it out.
What do you mean greedy! Surely everyone else gets paid triple time AND a day off in lieu for working boxing day?

Ummm... You seem to be just a tad confused here. The tube driver's union is the RMT. TFL is the body that governs public transport in London. Perhaps you should verify your facts before flying off the handle at the wrong side in an argument?

Sorry but where did I mention TFL here?
Err... I had another good look, and I think (could be wrong) it's right smack in the middle of your original post. Unless I've suddenly caught acronym dyslexia...
I made noricket, not sure why you needed to bring up all the other unecessary bull sh*t about RMT/TFL, all I was doing was letting people know there is no poxy tubes on boxing day for Football.

You blamed entirely the wrong side for an industrial dispute. No ricket there at all.

I don't want to stir the pot even further but if you look at the original BBC link posted by Nicholas it's not TfL or Bob Crow's RMT but the traditional train drivers union Aslef that are threatening to strike Boxing Day.....
Actually, I think the man to blame is Bob Crow - and his henchmen.
They've been taking the piss for years now and at the expense of the ordinary taxpaying commuter - and we just have to take it. They give unions a bad name.

On this occasion it's ASLEF on strike, and not RMT. So as much as we like to blame Mr Crow (especially as he's a Milwall fan), we can't this time. Shame.

Nah, he's to blame alright - he's set the tone for the culture there.

Not TFL's fault though.
can't see him letting it happen.

Merry Xmas TFL was purely on there as people may have not know who the RMT are.

There's no Jubilee Line on Boxing Day anyway, despite Nicholas's blowhardery. Our old pals at Southeastern have decided not to run a train service either.
