Away season ticket

Am I imagining it or did we used to have a season ticket for away games?

I'm sure when the ticket office was in a portakabin this was the case!

Yes, you could pay for an "away season ticket" in our first few years in the Premier League.

You paid up front for this, just like a home season ticket, and a week before each away game the ticket office would send you a ticket for the next game. So it wasn't actually a season ticket, as such, it was just the confirmation that you would get a ticket for each and every away game. They were scrapped when our away support started to dwindle and it was no longer worth administrating such a process.
