last 2 times we played there (news years day & earlier this season) I have parked in the road opposite the ground no problems. There is plenty of residents only notices and tow away zones to be aware of but should be able to get something along that road (it doubles back to vitually Kew bridge)
only drawback is that you do have to walk around 2/3rds of the ground before getting to the away end - but no more than a 10 min walk.
Believe it or not the last time I went there I parked right outside the main entrance.
I remember parking there and thinking to myself ..."This just can't be right Stu", surely I'm reading the parking signs wrong (which we all have done at sometime or another and is all to easy to do), but having asked several stewards and fans I was told it was OK...and sure enough it was. Admittedly I arrived there at about 1.00pm for dinner, so fortunately there were spaces available at that time.
Can't think of any other ground in the country where you can do that, I was genuinely flabbergasted.....it was only a couple of years back so I'm guessing it's still the same.
It was the equvalent of parking in front of the club shop at The Valley..........which is of course impossible!
