4th !!

I was away for a couple of weeks in November and in fact my last game before my holiday was Brighton at home (0-4). Since coming back I have seen us play woefully against Bristol Rovers, Luton & now Wallsall...could someone please explain how we are 4th - the games I have watched this season I am shocked we are not bottom 3!

Hard to complain when you are in a play off spot but from what i have seen I really do fear the rest of the season.

Today's was probably the worst game i have been to in 30 odd years...no passion, no interest, no skill.

Could I suggest a whip around to send me off on hols again...maybe I am a bad luck charm!

  • I think we all deserve a holiday after today's game!
  • main reason for that fact is that this league is shite and you win games by scoring more goals than your opponants, not becasue you are better than them.

we could (and should) have lost to Luton in both games and if it weren't for Rob Elliott then Barnet would have had 4 or 5

when we are on song (Perterborough) then we are un-stoppable and once we get 2 or 3 we ain't going to loose............but today just showd what happens if we don't score.

    I second that.
  • The Carlisle game was a turning point, set us off on a good run.Im sure the performances will improve.

I'm happy to send you a few quid to go on holiday again. As long as you don't come back with ridiculous comments like this one.

I think most people would agree that's how games are won, Golfie.

    ;o)
  • is 4th the new 5th
  • I wonder what Huddersfield/Sheff Wed and Southampton boards say about their own teams performances?

It's a mixed league, even Brighton have been stalling recently after their good start. I don't think they'll be a runaway winner like Norwich last season.

I think our away form is quite good, it's at home where we are having problems.
  • 11 games without defeat playing good in some- average in others and lucky in a few but frankly I don't care as long as the points keep coming in. Ok so yesterday was not good but these things happen from time to time, that is football. If the response to the Walsall defeat is as good as the Brighton one I won't be complaining. All this really proves is League One is much of a muchness and it's those that hold their nerve that generally come out on top. There is no reason why it can't be us.

quite a few people i know try and stay away from computers etc for their holidays. Particularly if their job involves working with them a lot
