Team of two halves?

edited December 2010 in General Charlton
Just sitting here contemplating tomorrows game and had a flashback to Luton hitting the bar in the first half on thursday night. God we were shite in that first half. For me that has been pretty much been the main feature of our season so far. Couple of excellent 90 minute performances- Peterbrough, from accounts, and Bristol Rovers was good- but mostly very in and out. Fear we could get embarrassed at spurs if we don't get this sorted out. Thoughts below please..

  • We should send the reserves on for Spurs - thus insulting them, protecting the first team and saving ourselves from embarrassment. Simples!
  • We play better awayfrom home - nailed on win at The Lane.

Seriously we could be a banana skin for Spurs.

Wish I could get tickets. Me mate's a Spur's fan - he says I can go in with him.

Bloody Hell. Pards is doing well at Newcastle. they scored again as I was typing
  • We certainly have been a team of two halves this season, annoyingly at home even more so. If we sort this out we will surely be top 2. On the spurs game i feel we could be well beaten regardless, but the players are realistic, will enjoy the bigger stage and will learn something from it. If we get a result there then brilliant, but promotion this year is by far the most important target lets not forget
