Our debt?

Can anyone explain to me approximately how much debt we are or are not in? I've kind of lost track of how it all works.

  • I believe it is just £7 million, all owed to people within the Charlton setup......
  • That's not a horrendous figure although I would unsustainable in our current league. What ever happened to the tens of millions of pounds we were supposed to owe?

£30m written off when Baton bought in I believe? That £5m or £7m would have been enough to take us down the same road as Plymouth by summer if no buyer found...and with the courts maybe looking for a highish profile but expendable (sorry, but...) club to make an example of we could well have been in the frame...
  • £5m to the banks secured bt the ground - £5M to Murray - £7M to shareholders who wrote off £20m of loans only repayable in installments if we get to Premier league

The loan to Murray will be reoaid on takeover I am sure

If you mean the money owed to Murray, I doubt it.
  • Richard Murray deserves a statue erected next to Sam Bartram.
  • £7m mortgage to Lombard
    £1m loan from HSBC
£7m to directors, repayable over 3 years when/if we get back to the Prem

Taken from the EGM thread in August.
