My Band - 'Van Susans' .....**Live at IndigO2 Sat 16th April**

A week tomorrow, on December 6th, my band's single is being released on iTunes, Amazon etc... and I thought it was time to do some promoting amongst my fellow Addicks!
We're called Van Susans and our single's called Bones. There's a little article about us on the front page of the News Shopper website at the mo. (http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/news/8705703.CONEY_HALL__Band_s_new_single_inspired_by_singer_falling_from_girlfriend_s_bedroom_window/)#

Anyway, just thought I'd float it past everyone on here, and if anyone feels compelled to buy the single and push a Charlton band up the charts then I would of course be very grateful!

Cheers Stonemuse. We're contracted for 3 singles in the next 12 months. There'll be an EP at some point during that time and we'll do an album after that.

Thanks for the bump Covered End! Singles out in 15 mins! Unfortunatley iTunes have let us down and pushed back their release due to a 'Backlog' which is very frustrating, but we'll be available on Amazon, Napster and all the usual download sites from tomorrow. Just have to wait a bit longer for iTunes.

So....has anyone gone and bought a copy!? Really happy with the sales today.
We're currently number 4 in the Amazon Movers and Shakers chart which updates hourly, above Alexandra Burke, Katherine Jenkins, Daft Punk and others. At number 1 is that clown from the Go Compare adverts who's released a Xmas single today. So if nothing else, why not help to knock him off his perch!
We're also number 42 in the iTunes Rock Genre chart.
Can I rely on my fellow Addicks for some more downloads!?

Downloaded today, gotta say a great tune and strangely in some way I think the lyrics can relate to Charlton: "Sometimes it takes a long hard fall, to find out you're not invincible after all..."

Cheers Forza! We're at number 28 on the iTunes Rock Chart now. And yes, I think a lot of Charlton fans would relate to the lyrics of the song in that sense!

Slipped a bit in the daily charts today, but to be expected after the hype of the first day of going on sale. Really suprised with the news of how many downloads we were getting yesterday. Things looking good!

Yeah, got a bit of stick for this! A result of having a budget of £0 for the video! Couldn't light it well enough so had to go for daylight. Official reason is, "he had a long way to run!"
