  • Elliot - 9 kept us in it. Just for ooh ah he scuffed one kick.
Francis - 7 Marshall was quick and one of their most dangerous players but, although slower and warned by the ref, Simon stuck to his task.
Fry - 7 The more I see him the more I like him
Dailly - 6 not quite the usual Christian but a professional performance nonetheless.
Fortune - 6 Ok for 20 minutes or so but then looked very out of sorts. Not the Jon we know and love.
Jackson - 6 Good shot in the first half well saved by Cole but not as influential as normal
Wagstaff - 6 Hardworking without anything special. Hope his injury is not bad
Racon - 6 Back to the bad old Therry. Occasional flashes long disappearances
Reid - 8 for the goal alone. Faded and did little in the second half
McCormack - 6 Anonymous much of the time came into it a bit in the last 15 or so.
Abbott - 6 Held the ball up and won it but a woeful finish for his chance. Redknapp's granny would have scored! Worked hard with little service.

Benson - 7 A clever player who tried things without anything quite coming off. Worked very hard with little service
Doherty - 6 we looked a bit more secure when he came on
N/A Sodje 6 nice interplay with Benson once or twice put his chance, which he did most of the work to create, over the bar

Basey 7 Shame he didn't have the grace to respond to those of us clapping him off but hey ho.

  • Elliot - 9 not bad for a non-league keeper who is the worst in this league. Was always a good keeper. never understood the slagging offs that he took.
    Francis - 6
Fry - 6 is he now banned? silly booking as now have to move JJ to FB
    Dailly - 5.5 deserved booking
Fortune - 5.5 Got worse - due to cramps it seems.
Jackson - 6 good first half but out of position
Wagstaff -5.5 injured perhaps but not in the game much.
Racon -5.5 the other Racon turned up.
Reid - 6.5 for the goal otherwise little impact but then again a winning goal is always enough
    McCormack - 5.5
Abbott - 5.5 Poor but perversely started very well. Isolated with Reid and Waggy so off their games but was still poor.

Benson - 6 Looked sharper than anyone else
Doherty - 6 Steadied the ship slightly
N/A Sodje 6 worked hard to little outcome

  • Elliot - 10 Faultless. On the same level as Nicky Johns v Chelsea and Bob Bolder at Man Utd. Just a shame that so few people witnessed it.
Francis 7 Defended well against a tricky winger who saw a lot of the ball.
Fry - 7 Finished strongly when others had wilted. Tackled well throughout.
Dailly - 7 Won every header he went for and had to do almost everything until Doherty came on.
Fortune - 5 Very disappointing. Hardly won a header, got underneath the ball a few times. Don't know if he was injured but we really missed Doherty. Looks like a squad player at this level and that's a sad decline. Llera might even be a better choice on last night's evidence.
Jackson - 5 Passed the ball ok 1st half but couldn't handle the move to right midfield 2nd half. Not much tackling from him when we needed to dig in and was struggling for fitness in the last ten minutes (not as if he'd run himself into the ground).
    Wagstaff - 5 Did very little...probably injured.
Racon - 6 Was ok 1st half but couldn't get on the ball much 2nd half.
Reid - 5.5 Did really well for his goal but gets us in to trouble defensively with his poor positional play & poor decision making on the ball. Takes too many touches when deep in his own half. Did nothing 2nd half.
McCormack - 5 Didn't tackle and that put so much pressure on Racon. Got forward intelligently a couple of times (setting up Jackson) but the lack of bite was disturbing. Looked at least a couple of yards off the pace. Didn't even get close enough to get up for the headers...just stood off and let them have it.
Abbott - 6 Tried his nuts off but had zero service from the wings. Did make a balls of his one chance but overall held the ball up well.

Benson - 5.5 Defended well from corners (as he often does) and got one in the boat after bravely sticking his head in. Plenty of running but not much service. Didn't hit his one shot at all well and a poorish touch let him down when Abbott had played him in.
Doherty - 7.5 Got his head on everything and shored us up a lot when he came on.

  • Elliot - 10 (in spite of a couple of naff kicks)
Francis - 7.5 caught out by speedy winger early on, but soon settled to the cause
    Fry - 6.5
    Dailly - 6.5
    Fortune - 5
    Jackson - 6
    Wagstaff - 6
    Racon - 6.5
Reid - 6.5 (goal made up for other naff moments)
McCormack - 4 (comparable with Francis at Brentford - one good tackle late on)
Abbott - 5 (adequate at best with little service or support - poor effort with scoring chance)

    Benson - 7
    Doherty - 6.5
    N/A Sodje 6 (lively cameo)

Terrible match. Lousy attendance. Barnet deserved at least a draw. Abbott is not up to the job. Bring on Luton. Hopefully our fans will turn up for that one.
