Does anyone remember Dave Evans membership secretary of the CASC mid 1990s.His sudden passing away 10years ago this week came as a great shock to his friends and family.He could be found on aweekend in The Beehive in New Eltham having a quite pint in the public bar.
First met him at Selhurst in the mid 1980s standing on the Arthur Wait terrance and became good friends with him.
Was unable to say my goodbyes to him due to his sudden passing away,but without him would never have met my wife.Thanks for the goodtimes Dave you are always remembered.

Had the pleasure of Dave’s company on a pre season weekend in Ireland in 1998 when we played Shamrock Rovers on the Sunday. Remember a few of us going on a boat trip at Portmarnock on the Saturday, and having a superb time. Lovely fellow was Dave. Sadly missed.

Blimey was it 10 years ago,I remember having a few beers with him in the Beehive quite a few times and he was a lovely bloke.

Would have been Daves 59th birthday today.Both of us still look back at good times we spent with him.

Dave gave lots for the club. He was told that he should have been taking it easy by the Docs but kept helping out CASC and all things Charlton.
